Comics sort of move at a glacial pace. We get a tease or hook, we get developments bit by bit, but it can take sometimes a year for a story to reach a beginning, middle, and end. As a reader, I've found some arcs are better as a tradeback. Has Marvel ever thought about just consolidating issues? Not super-size, not tradeback, not 25 pages as opposed to 22 but like a WHOLE event in just one book?

I think that depends on what comics you’re reading. You’re making a generalization that doesn’t really apply to everything that we publish.

So I might suggest it would be easier for you to explore some of the other options that we’re putting out, that focus more on one and two issue stories.
