    >Just wanted to let you know the reason I didn’t buy SHIELD this week even though I love Mark Waid is the $4.99 cover price. It’s the same reason I didn’t pick up Spider-Verse even though I love what Dan did with the Superior Spider-Man too. Just wanted to let you know before you cancelled SHIELD for low sales in 5-6 issues that the price is what turned me off the book, solely.

    Enough with the 5 dollar comics man, this is ridiculous! When can we expect this awful trend to stop?>

    The genuine answer is never.

    In the history of history, prices have never gone down on any sort of a permanent basis.

    I think you’re correct in making the choice that you think is best for you, and if the cover price isn’t worth the experience to you, then you should give it a pass. There’s always the collection at some future point should you change your mind.
