What's with all the superhero vs. superhero material permeating comics the 5 or 6 years? Aren't people tired of this yet? Where do you think this trend stems from and why people enjoy it so much?

I suspect that it all stems from places like this one, the Internet. How many conversations are there per capita about whether one hero can beat another hero?
That all said, I don’t know that I agree with you that it’s either something new or that it’s something we’ve been doing to the exclusion of everything else–at least any more so than in the past.
