  • Tom, if I were to be reading Dr. Strange for the first time (outside of Rios/Pak's Season One which has incredible art/story and everyone should read it) should I go balls-deep into his lore and just pick up the oldest book on him I can find or is there something more current to catch me up on the character? I see him a lot in team-ups or on actual teams, hardly ever alone. Not too sure where to start. What would you suggest?

It’s a bit of a cheat answer, as I edited it, but i think DOCTOR STRANGE: THE OATH is a good place to start. And I believe we just put it up on the Marvel App at a discounted price, so the timing is good if digital is your thing.

You can certainly go deeper if you like–the early Stan Lee/Steve Ditko DOCTOR STRANGE stories are pretty great as well.
