Even though she was already dead when I started reading Spider-Man, I was always a fan of Gwen. MJ in those days struck me as, not to put too fine a point on it, a bit of a bitch, and nobody that I’d want to spend time with.
That all said, I don’t advocate bringing Gwen back from teh dead at all.
