Tom, I know you have no say, but I've seen a lot of people saying that Iron Fist should be changed to an Asian actor for when his show premieres, and that kinda defeats a big part of his character, right? Being different from everyone else in K'un L'un drives a good part of his origin, so clearly not being Asian is intrinsic to who he is. Am I just overthinking this?

I don’t think that there’s any huge problem if the television folks cast an Asian actor who is great in the part. That’s a choice that can be made. And an Asian person from the outside world would still be different from everyone else in K'un Lun.
Which isn’t to say that they will do that–I have no firsthand knowledge whatsoever.
