  • Why do my tastes on who was the best writer for a series differ from the mainstream? I prefer Claremont, Carey and Lobdell to Morrison on X-Men while I also prefer Byrne, Fraction and O'Neil to Michilinie on Iron Man. Is this normal?

It’s not average, but it’s certainly normal. Different people have different tastes and like different things.

That’s part of what makes doing this job challenging–one person’s classic run is another person’s childhood-destroying run.
