>Only that I get that feeling from your responses. When you answer something like “sorry you feel that way” the real meaning is pretty clear i.e. you don’t agree and can’t see why someone would feel that way. So in a way you are telling these readers I don’t see your point. So I could, for example, present what I think is a very salient argument as to why the Hulk can’t be treated like a hero after enslaving Manhattan and terrorizing it worse than any number of irredeemable villains and your answer would be “sorry you feel that way.”
That to me, reads, you don’t get it.>
Sorry you feel that way.
I think that’s the best way to answer a lot of these questions and comments, because it acknowledges what the person is writing about without taking a particular position on it.
As you can see if you spend any time at all here, Marvel readers hold a wide variety of opinions on any subject that you care to name, on any story that we publish. And, as individual readers, all of those opinions are valid. However, there is no way that I can agree with even a fraction of those opinions. That doesn’t mean that I can’t see why someone might feel that way. It does mean that I can’t and won’t immediate act on every opinion expressed to me in this forum.
But none of that equates to “you don’t get it”, not in the slightest.
