If it helps, Secret War, where Daisy is introduced, addresses the mutant thing. Daisy's powers are believed by Nick Fury St. to be the result of "genetic damage " caused by Mr. Hyde's constant meddling with his own DNA. (Though that is certainly vague enough to be overwritten by "Her mom was from the lost tribe of Inhumans" if it comes to that in the 616.)
Nick makes that conjecture, but he hasn’t done the math.
The Fantastic Four have been around for about 13 years. If you wanted to stretch a point, you could say maybe 14.
Either way, Daisy is older than 14. Which means that she was born before Calvin Zabo became Mister Hyde.
Now, it’s possible that Zabo did earlier experimentation on himself on the road to becoming Hyde and that genetic damage was passed on to Daisy.
Or it’s possible that there’s more going on here than first meets the eye.
