When calculating the sales of a title do you use a calendar month or does the release date start the month for a title? I ask because a title released on the first Wednesday has more opportunity to sell than a title released on the last Wednesday. Or is something where like 95% of the sales happen on the release Wednesay?
We count the money. Doesn’t matter where or when it comes in, that’s what we’re counting.
And a title released on the last Wednesday has just as long on the stands until its next issue as a title released on the first Wednesday. Those comics don’t stop being sold on the final day of the month.
