There's an easy excuse ("Villains are by nature more one dimensional than heroes.") but I think you guys are been better than that, which is why your villains are so interesting. I've been disappointed with the treatment of most of the altered heroes in AXIS so far. They're just boring. Mean-spirited but without any particular character hook. Nightcrawler doesn't seem more evil pirate or less-faith driven, for instance. Hogoblin and Loki and Carnage have been great. Past IM, the heroes have not.
