  • Tom, how long did it take you to feel like you had a good handle on editing a book? I'm sure you had talent from the start, but did there come a point where you felt like you took things to another level?

    If you’re doing it right, you’re constantly learning new things.

    One of the biggest traps is feeling like you’re smarter than everybody else, that you know everything.

    There are a million different ways to make a comic book, and a million different types of comic books tat can be made. You may have gotten good at one or two, but there’s still an infinite variety out there.
