  • I don't mind it if Marvel and DC want to push diversity in their comics. But, doesn't it say something negative that they seem unable to create original and new black characters that are popular and big sellers? I mean, why is Marvel force to alter the race of already existing characters? Why is that valid when they seem incapable of creating new characters that have the artistic and writing support of Spider-Man and Captain America?

    I think this is a nonsense false equivalency.

    Tell me: how many white characters have people come up with in recent memory that have the artistic and writing support of Spider-Man and Captain America? Answer: not bloody many.
