  • Continuing with the premise of the X-Man as a displaced group without a homeland angle is a slap in the face to the various peoples throughout history who have had a genuine struggle. There is no genuine struggle in storyline for the X-Men because it is impossible for the general public to determine whether or not someone has the X-Gene. Super powered people are accepted in the MU. You are trying to shoehorn in a distinction for plot purposes. I think it's deeply offensive.

    Sorry you feel that way, but that’s essentially been the theme of X-MEN since 1963, so it’s not something we’re going to abandon. Maybe it’s just not the series for you.
