  • If you (hypothetically) made a comic that you don't think turned out well, and then it became very popular and sold very well, would that change your opinion of the book, given that it did what it was supposed to do (please readers and sell well)?

    No. I’d think that it was great that the book and the story found an audience, but I’d still be very aware of what the failings were.
