New Brevoort Formspring

I had no problem with the Human Torch being a black man in the Fox Film, I believe fans overreacted like they tend to do. But this: "He’s Victor Domashev, not Victor Von Doom ... The Doom in ours—I’m a programmer. Very anti-social programmer. And on blogging sites I’m “Doom”." I can't find any justification fot this. Are people at Marvel angry at this too? That sounds even worse than the Tim Story Doom, I didn't think it was possible

I think the wisest thing to do in this situation is to wait and see.
Not a frame of this film has been shown to anyone. So you really have no idea as to how bad or good it will ultimately be.
So while it doesn’t sound promising, I don’t know that it’s quite yet time to write the thing off.
And if it’s as bad as you fear, you’re really not any worse off.
