So, please correct me if I'm wrong, but I've been thinking of inversions as points on a number line. Someone like Captain Falcon was a +50 on a morality line, now he's a -50, and the opposite for someone like Carnage. Is that why Magneto appears to not be affect as much because he might've been like a -5 and now he's a +5, so there wasn't much of a swing? Are the more morally ambiguous characters not as bothered by the inversions since they were closer to the "zero" point to begin with?

I don’t think that human personality is so simple that you can chart it on a single line. The specific traits that get inverted for each character are different based upon who that character is. So while in certain cases the change may not seem as outwardly extreme as in other instances, it is no less a change.
