"I’m sure that he would tell you that being part of a movie is no evidence of quality." Yeah, but the dude was talking about you guys not being able to create "classic stories for the ages". I'd say having a comic story used as a movie pretty much cements it as a story for the ages. There's 75 years of stuff directors can pull from, yet they continue to choose more contemporary material. Dude's completely wrong. And kind of a dick.
He would tell you that they didn’t really pull from the story at all, just came up with their own better story and put our name on it.
