  • Mr. Brevoort, I wanted to say that I recently caught up on Inhuman by Soule and I really liked it. I think it is really excellent work. Keep it up! As an aside, it made me think of how an old X-Men reader like me is not attracted by the X-Men anymore. I feel like their core essence has been forgotten: the political conflict between humans and mutants, the real purpose of the x-men, seems to have disappeared from the comic books recently. What is your opinion about this?

I don’t know that I can agree with that, particularly in the two books Brian is writing (especially UNCANNY X-MEN.) It’s not done exactly the same way it may have been done a decade or two ago, but that conflict is still front-and-center in those titles.
