Why is everything so reactionary between DC and Marvel? They announce a bunch of films, so y'all do. They announce their new stuff, so y'all do. Why can;t you guys try doing something original, or just ignore what they're all doing.

The notion that Marvel Studios just announced the film slate for the next few years because Warners announced their prospective slate of DC films is just a little bit preposterous.
Do you really think that Marvel Studios just came up with all of those films days before the announcement? And do you think that they are at all concerned that another outfit is making movies?
