  • You post a lot of questions/comments here from people who are annoyed/upset with what is taking place with either the titles they buy, or with Marvel as a whole. Your response is always "Don't like them, don't buy them". You treat those with a passion for comics as though we are idiots, simply because we aren't gobbling-up everything you sell. I would hope that despite your acidic replies, that you will take into account the feedback you're getting to help, oh I dunno, steer the ship?

I don’t think there’s anything idiotic about the notion that if you don’t like something, you shouldn’t support it. That’s a very straightforward idea, one that casts no aspersions upon the person or whatever their complaint may be.

But as you can tell from reading this page for even just a day, different Marvel fans have different opinions. So the idea that any one individual reader’s opinion is by itself going to help steer the ship isn’t quite looking at the big picture. It’s all feedback, and it all goes into the same bucket, but typically, every time somebody says that they don’t like something, there’s another poster who says that they do. So tell me, which feedback should I listen to in order to help steer the ship? Answer: I listen to all of it, then use my own judgment based on my vantage point and my instincts.
